Instead you decide to go for a walk. You see someone on the walk. They nod their head to say “hello.”
You immediately look out at the sun glaring on the river, pretending as if you had not noticed the attempt at interaction.
Later ask yourself why you handled it the way that you did. You criticize yourself harshly, and stare at the river for the remainder of the walk. You decide to turn around and hurry back to your house, before another awkward interaction is initiated.
